Dune Ripples

Wind flowing over sand creates ripples not unlike those formed by water flowing over sand on the bottom of the creek or 4x4 tires gliding over a soft dirt road creating a washboard. This particularly beautifully rippled dune was discovered at sunrise after a windy night in Death Valley. It was difficult to walk anywhere on the dunes without disrupting this "work of art".
